Two cats look at each other
They see each other through a glass door
The gray cat is inside looking out
The white cat is outside looking in.

One cat starts meowing
The other cat meows in replying.
Both cats are meowing
Who understands what they're saying?

One cat meows again
While rubbing its snout on the glass.
The other cat does the same.
Both cats simultaneously meow.

These two cats rest happily.
They blink their eyes at each other.
They wag their tails like a feather.
Then they stop meowing.

Hai con mèo nhìn nhau
Nhìn nhau qua cửa kiếng
Mèo tro ở trong nhà
Mèo trắng ở ngoài sân.

Một con mèo meo meo
Con mèo kia đáp lại.
Hai mèo đều meo meo
Ai hiểu chúng nói gì?

Một con mèo meo meo
Áp mặt trên cửa kiếng,
Mèo kia cũng làm theo
Hai mèo đều meo meo.


Thoải mái, mèo nằm chơi
Mắt nhìn nhau chớp chớp
Hai đuôi vẫy nhẹ hờ
Mèo không còn meo meo.
