A Rainy Day With My Freind Poem by courtney helm

This was a memory of me and my friend during a rainy day and how much fun it was.



As I look at my past,
At what didn't last,
We ran into the rain,
MOm thought I was insane,
But I just smiled,
Because memories like these only come once in a while,
When we got to the puddles, we'd just jump and sit,
My mom told us we'd get sick and to quit,
But I said no way,
And to the park we ran away,
We went to the creek,
She said I was acting like a geek,
Next we headed for the swings,
Since we were in the rain we decided to sing,
All of a sudden the rain stopped and we got sad,
But when we got home and into warmth, we were glad.
