A Red Rock Christmas Poem by Marilyn Lott

A Red Rock Christmas

Rating: 5.0

Don’t you find it’s such a thrill
Driving around on Christmas night?
The lights, the sounds, the feeling
That comes with the Christmas sights

Homes all lit up for the holiday
With brilliant lights around
And if you listen very close
You’ll hear a tinkling sound

Lights will show how Santa
Never seems to tire
He’s fishing in a little boat
Or reading beside the fire

Where does he find that energy?
We all may want to know
It’s because the Christmas season
Gives life such a loving glow

Little children are in such awe
Of the sights on that special night
All wide-eyed and watching
‘Cause the lights are so very bright

But, you know, there is a special place
That you just might want to see
And that is Red Rock Canyon
All decked out for you and for me!
