A Reflection - Poem by Loyd C. Taylor, Sr.

What is the sum of all I've done?
What is the worth of all acquired?
What profit is under the sun?
What purpose for all I‘ve desired?

I consider my gift of time,
Reflecting on how it was used;
O' so much I took for granted-
So much was wasted and abused.

Yesterday is gone forever!
But what of moments on the shelf?
I pray to use it more for others
And not spend it all on self.
