A Secret Prayer Poem by Khairul Ahsan

A Secret Prayer

Rating: 4.2

Oh Lord of the Worlds,
If you permit me,
I wish to make a solemn prayer,
That I wish to take my laptop
With me to my temporary abode in the grave,
In absolute loneliness,
In absolute darkness.

Punish me not if I err,
If I disclose to you a secret desire,
That in the grave,
I wish to be granted a regular recess,
When I can communicate at my wishes
With my family, friends and loved acquaintances.

Like the solar charger that we have here,
Grant me a device that will charge in darkness,
And some plugs and sockets in the walls of the grave.
Grant this favor to all the graves,
And connect with a wifi that never goes to sleep,
Where the dead have been lying in eternal sleep.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The crux of the prayer is exchange of blessings between the living and the dead, and among the dead. The rest are like accessories to the main gadget.

Because you are such a godly person I don't think that you'll be lying in the grave, Khairul Ahsan! I think that you'll be with the Lord! Thanks for sharing!
