Taking in the landscapes scene
Wandering sheep on fields of green
In the moment i feel blessed
To sit beside the gentle stream.
Life has changed along the years
But nature lovingly appears
To fill my heart each passing day
To think of you with silent tears.
Many moons ago it seems
We sat beside the gentle stream
Dreaming dreams in nature's presence
If only you'd come back to me.
The oak tree's a reminder now
Our names, etched above the dew drenched ground
A sign of our initials wrote
Inside a heart of silent sound.
