A Sin Is A Sin Poem by Randy McClave

A Sin Is A Sin

A sin is a sin
The devil says with a grin,
No matter the reason or size
It will never win first prize.
Whether it's cheating or lying
Or unto the God you are denying,
No matter what type of debtor
No sin is any greater.
Sins don't have a price tag
They all carry the same red flag,
They are a sequel
And in torment they are all equal.
If you commit adultery or fornicate
Or if you murder, judge or hate,
Or if you falsely accuse, curse or blame
The price of sin is all the same.
If your heart is full of greed
Or if you are the murderer breed,
When you are placed of sins scale
They weigh the same God will tell.
Sin is a transgression of divine law
Which the Lord will call,
If you blame the devil for why you're there
He will just laugh as you've stepped into his snare.
