A Size Down - Poem by Connie Webb

Took eating lots of healthy things
Lots of exercise
And ignoring many goodies
Including that cake
That had thick chocolate frosting
Which I sat and watched others eat
Enjoying each delicious looking bite
But when I put on those smaller jeans today
It was worth every bite
I didn’t take.
