A Small Rest 6 - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Lay down for a while and close my eyes
to recharge my battery and mind a bit,
shed a few tears from the lonely pain inside.
Listen to Falcos album Weiner Blut with so many
wonderful songs of love and peace.

Dream of you holding my hand and laying
down holding me knowing all the truth I hold inside.
That I love you so much my heart throbs with
pain you being so far away.
A small rest to soothe my mind and soul,
dream of you holding my hand and holding me.
A few tears under the covers,
I truly do love you so very much.
