A Smile Poem by Randy McClave

A Smile

If you don't have a smile
Please, take mine,
Take it for a simple trial
And of course I'll be fine.
See how far it will take you
By not wearing a frown,
Now wear its joy in lieu
I promise it won't let you down.
Other smiles will be born
Because of the one that you wear,
From kindness and cheer it is worn
It shows honesty and also care.
Strangers will give you a grin
Family and friends will give you a nod,
Everyday will be a win
No one will ever feel flawed.
Here, please take my smile
I promise, it won't ever let you down,
Then he said once in awhile
Let it be your clown.
