A Soldier's Song Poem by Vaibhav Simha

A Soldier's Song

Rating: 4.0

I promise to you, the people I owe,
I treasure the most, connecting my past and future alike
For your welfare I vow, to give the last sweat and blood of mine
To protect you from my heart that shows me
The parallel that faith and strength draws;
I sacrifice my best to our country.
The last hope you have on me was that-
My land has sprung from the deep core of loneliness.
To the tranquil paths of graciousness.

This sacred vow and resolution taken by all soldiers act as the strength and shield of our nation! A soldier's life is exposed to great peril. But undaunted, he discharges his duties and commitment to the nation. A small poem of immense patriotic spirit!
