A Song Of Life Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

There is love within a song,
Memories float within my mind,
As I happily sing along,
My life right now is in rewind.

To those days of youth and love,
Of candy floss and blazing sun,
Beneath the bluest sky above,
To laugh to smile to skip to run.

I'd love to travel back to then,
For now I'm grey and feeling old,
Back to those precious long lost days,
Those days of love and pure gold.
