A soothing walk down
The park lets my mind
Groove upon the shadows.
Down among the trees
And darkness it drools
Without the confinement
Of spirits.
I can see
Those signs posted
Above city streets.
It says what my heart
Showcased years ago:
For sale.
What are these
But billboards and
Posters of our lives?
Look at the next block
And see another shadow
Dancing on limelight.
“The soothing walk” – with so much imagination… I also like to stay in the park and most of all, I like walking, for I know that while walking the best of ideas and solutions will knock at my door… I am playing in the park, I am painting and making drawings therein, but the emotional terrain you are describing is of great intrigue… nice work!
