A Special Boon Poem by shakil ahmed

A Special Boon

Rating: 4.8

Sun peeps in the horizon
After waging a night-long war
Against the fearful gloom
Sun moves slowly and slowly
Throw out the whole day
And sets in the western sky.
Moon appears to remove darkness,
That settles on the face of earth,
With its golden tender light
Hearts of lovers soar in the sky
in dim-moon-lit night
Stars begin to twinkle in the sky
To adorn the moments with glee
Lovers fly with ectatic pleasure
Through the passage of galaxies
Then, naughty sun appears again
Revolving in its own axis
Moon disappears wearing invisible mask
And lovers become busy in their task.
Life rotates in its axis
Like busy sun and slow moon
Happy lover finds some time
From nature as a special boon.

Great imagery. You give a heart-warming picture of the day n night that make up life. The smooth transition from day to night n vice versa has a lot to teach to the mind that thinks. A big 10.

Moon disappears wearing invisible mask and lovers become busy. Amazing imagery is wisely drawn in this poem basing on perception of moon.10
