A Special Dove
One solitary dove rests on a garden vine,
Lingering there in a sweet calmness, oh! so divine,
His pure white coat is glowing in the sun,
It's reflecting his maker's spirit, to let us know God's work has just begun,
As we witness a symbol of God's consoling love,
through this special dove sent from up above,
He came to capture our attention;
While he offers us much affection,
If we would only accept & believe,
Then he can bring us some peace...never to leave.
