A Special Valentine
Special Valentine
I wake up early in the morning
Before the break of day,
Nothing on my mind but to write to you
Today:
As thoughts come to mind,
Rita has her time, needs a word or two
A Valentine.
The rose I give to you today indicates
My thoughts of you, as I speak from
Within my heart.
Forgive me as I write as I was taught
A poet I am ~ A scholar not.
