A Splash Of Kindness Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

A Splash Of Kindness

The splash of refreshing rain revives
as introspective thoughts are discovered
Dry dusty things begin to feel energize
Rescued by soothing sounds… recovered

Can the benefits of the rain be translated
into sustaining words that improve resilience...
Words like, 'I love you and thank you; '
they change the gray of gloom to brilliance

When all is said and done these words patter
in the minds of those who have been blessed
A glow of happiness continues to be nurtured
by the kind-heartedness that was expressed

This is a fine poem with a gentle but valuable concept. May its mists overspray onto human cynicism. I also invite you to read myacrostic poem Dynamic Ribbon and another poem Good and Bad.
