A Struggle To Illuminate Poem by BHARAT REGMI

A Struggle To Illuminate

Amidst the gleaming Eid lights that surround,
My inner light dwindles and falls to the ground,
The festivities may be ablaze with delight,
But my own flame flickers, struggling to fight.

The joyous occasion may bring laughter and cheer,
Yet within me, a shadow of darkness appears,
My heart yearns to shine bright once again,
To bask in the radiance of Eid's reign.

But for now, my light remains dim and low,
A glimmer of hope, a flicker of woe,
May the blessings of Eid renew my soul,
And reignite the flame that once made me whole.
