Losing Myself Poem by BHARAT REGMI

Losing Myself

One day, you'll come searching for me,
But I'll not be there, to see.
The day when you'll understand, my love's true worth,
The day when you'll finally see, my words were not just mirth.

The day when the world, betrays you and leaves you to mourn,
The day when you realize, his love was but a thorn,
You'll come searching for me, with apologies and guilt,
But I'll not be there, my love, to heal your heart that's been split.

I'll not be there to wipe away your tears,
I am slowly losing myself and disappearing through the years.
Vanishing, like a ghost, into the night,
Leaving behind, only memories, of our love once bright.

So, hold on tight, to the love that we shared,
For when I'm gone, it's all that will be left to repair.
And though I'll not be there, to hear your remorse,
Know that my love for you, will forever endure.
