Dear Lord my prayer is to thank you,
for giving me the wisdom of the written word,
so I may share with others,
the beauty of our lives.
I thank you for the food upon our tables,
the friends that share our lives,
and the love of a wonderful woman
who graces my life.
I thank you for guiding me
through any troubles I may encounter,
bringing me peace of mind
that others find it hard to find.
I thank you for all the gifts
that you have bestowed on me.
I also want to thank you
for allowing me to help others when I can.
