A Teardrop In Time Poem by Myrtle Thomas

A Teardrop In Time

Rating: 2.5

A Teardrop In Time

Time dries the tear drops
into diamond dust.
Crystallized sorrow in a bitter cup.
Gemstones so beautiful
are tears of joy.
' Bought ' with events, the tears deploy.

Cascading a drop at a time.
Emotions swim in a diamond drop.
Ever so slowly the supply will stop.
' A liquid healing, 'falling like rain.
Salve for the troubled, begotten of pain.

' Tear Drops Must Be Special ' For God Gave Us Tear Ducts.'
Men never be ashamed to shed a tear, for it is not a sign
of weakness. But it is a sign of being human!
