A Throwback To The Coliseum Poem by Mike Smith

A Throwback To The Coliseum

Rating: 5.0

The CIA, in 'honor' of the fifth anniversary of assassinating Osama Bin Laden
Has decided to 'live tweet' the operation as if it were taking place today
Congratulations America
You killed a guy with a beard
It only took ten years and a dozen trillion dollars

Why not stick his head on a pike and March it around DC while you're at it

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When I saw the headline I almost took it for a joke, but this is entirely true
Not trying to make any inch of comment about the decision to take him out. But to raise it over Internet as if it were a trophy is archaic and short sighted... This is the stuff that inspires terrorists

Quite true, Mike. I agree with what you have to say. After assassinating in a hush-hush manner, why publicize it and glorify the act?

I think it's all about who to them. They want to want to make this a larger than life event. To be remembered in the history books for their 'glorious' accomplishment..... Childish

Does CIA stand for colossal idiot agency? (If you read this, Mr. CIA director, you know where to find me. Come take me out and instagram it.) Yeah, we can't afford universal health care, but we can afford what will be 50 trillion by 2050, for a war of revenge. A holes!

I think it stands for tiny balls and massive egos.... (That's right CIA director. You can off me too a snapchat it ya prick) . There's already a feature length blockbuster glorifying the operation which took him out... How much more plublicity does this chapter in our nations history need? Your comment is part hilarious and part stark reality... A good combo and a good balance. Thanks
