Life is hard, it always has been
And we struggle with so many things
We feel over-whelmed sometimes
For what our daily life brings
So busy keeping a roof over-head
And keeping the children fed
Unfulfilled at the end of the day
And fall exhausted into our beds
So many decisions we have to make
Sometimes we’re not sure if they’re right
It seems like there isn’t any time
To notice the sun is fresh and bright
But you know, we need to stop
Just stop once or twice a day
Thank God for the good things we have
Let Him help us to find the best way
Life is beautiful if we stop to notice
Like cherries in a over-brimming bowl
Sweet and lovely and bright
There’s always a time to be thankful!
I think a lot of people can relate to this poem Marilyn, I certainly do. Perhaps a time out each day to be thankful would help break the mould. Lovely poem
'So busy keeping a roof over-head And keeping the children fed Unfulfilled at the end of the day And fall exhausted into our beds' WoW... The fate of the entire human race has been squeezed into this verse. Its high time we extract time for being thankful for everything we are blessed with. Beautiful message.. A sweet 10.

Yes, you have this right, a beautiful way of puting it into a poem. We can all get exhausted, but we do need to be thankful for what we have. Lovely poem.
