A Time To Think Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I must look back and think
To observe it without wink
No reason to go deep and sink
No use to turn rose cheeks and blink

You did what ever you could do
All lies about you are not true
You need explain conduct and prove
It is discourteous and to be disproved

The young age is like river
It goes after rose’s fervor
They go after flesh flavor
Praise the beauty and always adore

I did nothing wrong
I sang same song
Danced to the favored tune
I never asked to be immune

I swam across the river
I did not worry for any fear
I got what I desired
I was never accused or fired

I am unaware of my bad side
I had kept option very wide
They all came before my eyes as slide
I could see them clearly and unable to hide

It must not bother me at all
It was needed at particular time with call
I didn’t think it as my dawn fall
I had the capacity to scale the wall

I look back with great surprise
It has nothing to with sun rise
I may have great moments to memorize
This is the time to think and summarize

Who can help me out?
What it was all about?
It was not sheer madness
It was open with frankness


It mushroomed and gradually disappeared
The deadly end was mostly feared
It is the complete cycle of nature
