In th' gentle glow of th' soft moonlight.
Seeping thru' the window pane.
~
I watch as as you lie 'n peaceful slumber.
I feel a warmth of love, gently, flowing
over me.
~
As the trickles of a summers rain; an' I
am in awe once again, of thy splendour.
~
Lying close to you, I have plac'd a pretty
rose for thee to find an' when from sleep,
you wake.
~
In your hand you'll take. This pretty flower
an' you will know, 'tis a token of my love
for thee to keep.
~
You shall know that I love only thee, my
angel. Till my last breath; till the hands
of time, brings endless sleep......
