A Troubled Mind Poem by Daniel Bernard Kelleher

A Troubled Mind

Rating: 5.0

A troubled man
A troubled mind
No end in sight
No end to fear
Meds not working
He's all alone
Friends long gone
No family around
He see's no light
To guide him
He see's no path
To take him back
Fear has a iron grip
Only one way out
A troubled man
A troubled mind

An emotional portrayal of the inner state of a man who is suffering from some kind of depression. You have done it remarkably well. Thank you, Daniel. I would like to quote from the poem: Friends long gone / No family around / He see's no light / To guide him
