A Tyrant Queen Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

A Tyrant Queen

A queen of beauty;
She is looked upon
By all and at her sight,
Everyone looks happy.
Her smile cheers
Our home and our heart,
Since her birth,
Into this earth,
Souls cling to her,
Until they perish
From this earth,
Neither blessed with
A graceful figure,
Strong, stout and tall,
Nor with a sacred mind,
Yet we obey her sweet call.
Neither a cloud in the sky,
Nor a wave in the sea,
Yet we adore her,
As beautiful and sacred she,
King and pauper,
Rich and poor,
All worship her throne.
Bow down before this
All powerful and tyrant don,
For her, traitors are born,
Friends betrayed,
Truth and justice stabbed,
And we are all her slaves,
Can you guess my friends?
Who is this tyrant queen?
That forever sits on our mind throne.
Yes, she is our dearest money,
We purse her to the last,
As the tyrant queen of our lust……….

pure genius! : 3 (I would note though that you really don't need all of those commas. by creating such short lines we the readers are already pausing at the end of each one, reading slowly, and taking it all in.: 3)
