i found this definition of rove online: 3. To stretch and twist (fibers) before spinning; ravel out. i do not think of this definition when i use the word, but perhaps it is the one you had in mind? ? sometimes reading poems here, especially from foreign poets, i am exposed to new words or new definitions. is the first definition of fain (below) what you meant? you see the word archaic? i think that means it is a word most used long ago and rarely used now. fain fan/ archaic adjective adjective: fain 1. pleased or willing under the circumstances. the traveler was fain to proceed compelled by the circumstances; obliged. he was fain to acknowledge that the agreement was sacrosanct adverb adverb: fain 1. with pleasure; gladly. I am weary and would fain get a little rest i especially liked the second stanza, but i'm wondering if you meant bothers (as in turmoils) . i like rhyming as long as it doesn't interfere with the meaning. thanks for sharing. let me know if i criticized' too much. have a nice day and welcome to poemhunter. :)
