A Viewpoint At Munnar, Kerala Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

I think of the scenic beauty....
I try to drink beauty to my heart's content...
The mountains, full of greenery and clouds
playing hide and seek...
I try to dissect the emotions attacking me
from all sides....
emotions of love, desire, anger, affection, attachment
hatred, pleasure and pain.....
what is relevant for me now?
Can I not replace emotions with the silent nature
which is an embodiment of the Almighty?
Can I not imbibe me with the confidence to live?
Can it not show me the proper direction to move?
Emotion....can it not be considered as a
short-lived phenomenon?
