A Wanderer Poem by David Harris

A Wanderer

Rating: 5.0

I am a wanderer
with a girl in every town,
each think they own my heart,
but none of them do.
My heart belongs to someone
I have yet to meet,
but I know that I will know them,
when one day I pass them on the street.
Their love will tame
this wanderer down
and that is when
my roving days will be through.
Until that day comes along,
I will be a wander
with a girl in every town.
