A White Christmas? Poem by Marilyn Lott

A White Christmas?

Rating: 5.0

I prayed for a white Christmas
With snow on limbs so high
I wanted the white to glisten
Just like the stars in the sky

I wanted real true snowmen
In yards along with the manger
For snow, my friend, at our house
Has been a virtual stranger

And then in mid December
The flakes began to fall
I snapped many lovely pictures
A snowy Christmas after all?

Okay, that’s enough, we all decided
After five days coming down
You can stop right now, we shouted
For there’s two feet on the ground!

Good morning and a very cold poem. it was great. I am afraid that my wife has prayed os much for snow, that if God ever asnwers her prayers we will be snowbound for years. Blessings, Loyd
