A Wise Poet Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

A Wise Poet

Aide, joy, advocacy, rider!
With the muse of the heart and the mind;
With joy,
With love,
With the muse of peace.
A wise poet,
Like a bay with a beach;
Rake, take, sake, make, lake, wake, bake, brake!
With acts of powers and wonders;
Sit at my side and let me teach you.
The act of love,
The act of peace,
The power of ramance!
The act of joy;
Like a boat at sea.
To love it,
To face it,
To wipe it,
To kiss it,
To use it,
To cook it,
To eat it;
Aide, joy, advocacy, rider!
With all humility of the mind.
A wise poet,
Embraced with the muse of love;
And, to ignite your dreams!
One spirit,
One mind,
One peace,
One joy,
One world! !
With acts of powers and wonders from a wise poet to the world.
Write, rite, quite, site, bite, cite, mite, white!
With the clarity of sweet love;
Gave, save, Dave, have, brave, rave, cave, crave, pave, nave, clave!
Like the joy of the things around you today;
Love, peace, care, passion, emotion, romance!
One's mind,
One's spirit,
One's peace,
One's joy;
Living with the muse of a wise poet who is always ready to teach.
