A Woman Like You Poem by Natasha Andeyi

A Woman Like You

Wonder why I'm always in your corner,
Gassing you up and cheering you on,
Giving you reasons to keep going, especially when you don't want to,
Defending and backing you whether you're right or wrong?

Well, a woman like you doesn't knock the door twice.
So much is your worth to your know that one knock is more than enough,
And anyone aware of this should be standing by the door side waiting for you to knock.

Never making the effort to prove anything,
Whether it is the beauty they get to see,
Or the magic that is within.
All the magnetic power dwells inside of you,
Calmly but powerfully bringing to your reach all that you desire and need.

This kind of power is not just with anyone,
Not every woman walks by with your kind of magic.
And anyone who takes you for granted is just as blind and dumb as some of the animals in the wild.
