A woman wore a see-through dress,
Her silhouette, a soft caress.
She walked with grace, a whispered breeze,
Through moonlit nights, beneath the trees.
Her gown, a veil of dreams and light,
Embracing shadows of the night.
With every step, the stars would gleam,
As if she danced within a dream.
Her eyes, a secret, deep and wide,
Held stories oceans couldn't hide.
Each thread, a tale, each lace, a rhyme,
Of endless love and stolen time.
The world stood still, in awe and hush,
The moonlight painted her a blush.
She wove her way through dusk's embrace,
A vision wrapped in fragile lace.
No word was spoken, none could dare,
To break the spell that lingered there.
A woman in a see-through dress,
A world of beauty, nothing less.
an exquisite write, absolutely my favourite for the day, perhaps because I attempted something similar with a differing variation in theme when writing 'An Ephemeral Beauty She Glides Through Moonlight', I feel more keenly the creative process in this poem
