'Abattu' Poem by Shania K. Younce

'Abattu'

Abbatu is the word whispered.
Is the spirit that cries.
Is the feeling numbness and dry heartlessness.
Is the death that speaks so cold.
Abbatu is but a child of light and born in the dark.
