Absolute Nothingness Poem by Rameeza Nasim

Absolute Nothingness

Rating: 5.0

Staring on my easel
I gently stroked on the canvas
from my very soul
the color of hope
it lack vibrancy, carries only dimness
so much hopelessness!
hope fading!
afraid it might fade away in fullness
anticipatingly,
I approached for the color of faith,
it was there with all its radiance
spreading smoothingly vital on the canvas
further adding the colors of agony and pain
appearing vital but vain
there was a desperate want of life!
I approached for the color of life
oh! i was running short of it!
despite of my wit,
I am so short of it!
there is absolute nothingness
so much lifelessness

Despite of such nothingness and lifelessness
I compassionately looked,
looked onto my incomplete painting of love!
Despite of such emptiness
my unfinished creature is so dear to me! its my love!
here it gives me the inkling, what I have been to you!
where You were looking onto me
more compassionately
You claim that you love me more than my sins
much more than my kins
with all emptiness and thirst
I look up to You
waiting for Your final stroke
and ultimately I will be blessed...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem is a subjective on with lots of symbols, depicting the relationship of Creator and Creation. Initially I was a painter, a creator was filling colors in my painting of life and towards the end I turned into a painting looking up to my Creator my Painter for my final stroke

oh! i was running short of it! despite of my wit, I am so short of it! Beautiful lines with pretty rhymes, this poem is a master piece of divine love, and if it is the first poem of the poetess, it is a magic heading towards a miracle.

I like your ideas in this poem, your passionate expression, but you need to add details, and detailed descriptions of sight, sound, touch, smell so that readers better understand your emotions. Dennis
