Acknowledging Your Point Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Sleeping through the night, mind thinking seriously the whole
time, then upon awakening, thoughts rushing to the foreground
wanting to be written down and heard.

Thinking that God gave humanity free will, letting human beings
do what they will, creating us to love one another as He has
loved each of us, but it seems we have failed to do so.

Looking around this world today, seeing intolerance, hatred,
barbaric, evil people; has humanity lost it's values, morals
and ethics along the way.

God let humanity rule earth, but greedy, corrupt people, mostly elected officials have turned our world into a horrendous zoo
of ingratitude and selfishness.

Leaving many people to fend for themselves without any way to
do so, looking at today's world, knowing that you have a point,
God doesn't fix the mess man has made of humanity and earth,
it's up to each individual to fix it.
