Across The Eternity Poem by Sandra Osborne

Across The Eternity

Rating: 2.9

From across the starry night,
I watched
As the heavens fell, laughingly
Judging all who lay beneath.

Sprawled upon this small
Grassy knoll of earth
I dare to be so bold
As to believe
That I am important,
That heaven knows I exist,
That she knows my name.

Gazing quietly above
I sigh and smile
As the moon and the stars
Scream freedom and peace
Across the eternity,
That is God.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

God is not in the crescent, cross or idols. They are only symbols to remind us about God. God exists in you and me and all the living creatures. So, respect every living being means respecting God. Your poetry also reminds us of this truth.
