Across The Pond Poem by Randy McClave

Across The Pond

Who will you kiss when I am gone
Who will you kiss when I am across the pond,
And who will you hold to make you feel comfy
When I am far away in a different country.
Who will take you out to eat
When I am walking alone on another street,
And who will you want to talk to
When I am not standing next to you.

Who will take you to the store
To make you feel happy and grandeur,
And who will constantly tell you that you are beautiful
Because it's the truth, and not dutiful.
Who will appreciate the way that you dress
When I'm not there to impress,
And who else will tightly hold your hand
When I'm across the pond in a different land.
