Acrostic Of Your Name #2 Poem by Doris Cornago

Acrostic Of Your Name #2

Rating: 5.0

Awake all night I've found you sitting
Distracted by your bed, feeling
The drift of the wind in
Gusts, against
Your face,
Wondering
Where was it
What was it I've
Left behind me, or
Why am I running, now
Stopped, focusing on a spot
The jagged memories disconnecting
Let me, stay by me, I'll help you pick up

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Life is full of projections but also frustrations. When still children, we're sure of what we want to be but on encountering the complications of our role, we wonder is that role what we truly want.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Doris Cornago 21 July 2017

When we see a person, we're not sure what is his true color as his character changes with his mood and circumstances, but if we know him well, we can see the color of his soul, who he truly is for persons close to him.
