It easy to be a certain way,
when you use to do it so often,
now that I'm not completely numb,
I realize it takes a lot out of you,
to not feel nothing at all,
and just do,
when I was young,
it was how I survived,
now that I don't need to do it,
other than if I want attention from guys,
I don't really find it worth doing,
why put yourself through torture,
just to get a few good seconds,
when you can no long keep emotions under wrap,
they all come flooding back,
plus with more unwanted images,
that you didn't want in the first place,
even worse,
when your body remember the abuse,
makes everything that much worse,
than just talking about the pain,
and opening up that way.
