Ad idem?
Once dad and others had
-beasts for loads and the rides
-horse, camels and mules and further
Then the cars and trucks
-meant nothing, and measure
-for going distances were days, nights.
The planes of prop and the jets
-in dream had no part and no share
-though flying angels
-in skies great birds amused all
Radio and TV and the phones
-meant nothing anywhere
-travels took much time
-distances seemed too long
-in times years and life time
Example in one case
-Marco Polo
In those days
-hearts and arms
-were open, extended
-shared food, hugs
-even if too little
Many of tongues and words, strange
-speaking came via show, gestors
-hello, was raising hand or a bow
-some signal to show they respected
-yet the hosts invited
-and the guests thanked the hosts
Now, London-Tokyo
-Paris to New York and Tehran to La Paz
-have shortened to hours but the hearts are distanced
-wall to wall we live in same building,
-years pass by we learn not of neighbour
-never talk; no meeting of the minds.
This poem is wonderfully presented with suitable example. Brilliant sharing is done really...10

Fortunately, some of us still raise hands and bow. Excellent write, Nassy!
Yes sure, and thanks a lot.
