Adam West Poem by Ima Ryma

Adam West

A 1960's T.V. rave,
The series Batman was on air.
His memoir, 'Back to the Batcave, '
Adam West, the actor, did share
Why he did get the Batman role.
In the Caped Crusader costume,
West delivered each line with goal
To be serious as a tomb.
Each week a paunchy Batman would
Fight the crimes of a villain pack,
Urge the audience to be good,
A comedy with no laugh track.

The Batman played by Adam West
Was straight faced tongue in cheek the best.

Batman was a great TV program. I like the seriousness in Adam West which was hard to take seriously. Lovely you have acknowledge an actor for his work with his recent passing. Thank You
