Addiction
Pains and pleases
Holds no rational
Be it drugs
The bottle
Of the love of another
Thoughts, feelings
All an impossible mess
The beauty and the battle
The war of attrition
To the end, to the end
Addiction
Beholds no comprehension
Offers no reason
Just the chemical imbalance
That way of mind
That wicked reward
