Afraid Poem by David Harris

Afraid

Some people are afraid of the dark
and the demons it might hold,
others are afraid of spiders,
while others are afraid of snakes
and some are afraid of mice.
In each case we must face our fears,
the things that frighten us the most
whether they be living or dead
or in our imagination.
The moment we stop being afraid,
our fears will leave us alone.
