Afraid No More Poem by Doris Cornago

Afraid No More

Rating: 5.0

Others live life in whatever condition
Some prefer to take an easier path
Yours is up on sharp stones
Sliding down many times
Scraped your knees
Seeking a way
Uncharted
Territory
But that's
Past history
Recovered from
Losses, loneliness
Found your way among
Kindred, strengthened legs
Sprinting, sprouting, standing
Taller than before, screaming from
Paradise found, I'm here, afraid no more

Afraid No More
