African Dream ~ Afrički San Poem by Jankovic Zoran

For three years,
I watched a beloved forest
and the seasons that pass:

I saw the crafty wind blowing,
plays with young jakaranda's trees
which are servile bent.
I remained silent as an old, decaying stump.

I saw a cracked, aged cherry
which, with two, three fruits,
horny attracts barely young, naive bees.
I remained silent as an old, decaying stump.

I saw a black widow approaching me.
I heard my unfortunate nickname
who loved the most: "ZOKO! "

I saw a cunning wind,
and cracked, aged cherry
in the face of that colorful monster
which wants to move in me.

Sick, a black widow thought
that the spider and
the old, decaying stump is same.

A young spider can kiss her,
will not complain if he dies.
An old, decaying stump
does not burn, just smolder.
On it you can just warm.

Illusion had to stop forever.
It's too bad, I'm not just
dreaming crazy, African dream.
Unfortunately, this is a true story.

Afrički san

Tri godine sam gledao voljenu šumu
i godišnja doba koja prolaze:

Vidio sam kako se lukavi vjetar
poigrava sa mladim brezama
koje se podatno savijaju.
Ćutao sam kao stari, natruli panj.

Vidio sam napuklu, ostarjelu trešnju
koja, sa dva, tri ploda, pohotno
mami mlade tek stasale pčele.
Ćutao sam kao stari, natruli panj.

Vidio da mi prilazi crna udovica.
Čuo sam moj, nesretni nadimak
koji je najviše voljela: "Zoko! "

Ugledao sam lukavi vjetar,
i napuklu, ostarjelu trešnju
u liku tog šarenog čudovišta
koje hoće da se useli u mene.

Bolesna, crna udovica je mislila
da su pauk i stari, natruli panj isto.
Mladog pauka ona može poljubiti
i on neće žaliti da zbog toga umre.
Stari, natruli panj ne gori, on tinja.
Na toj vatri se možeš samo grijati.

Iluzija je morala zauvijek prestati.
Šteta što ja nisam samo
sanjao najluđi, afrički san.
Nažalost, ovo je istinita priča.
