After Death - Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

After death soul leaves body
Though he has no wish to leave,
Yet he is enforced to leave by nature
And he is bound to leave anytime.

When death captures the body
Body becomes motionless and senseless,
Remaining outside the body soul can see
Those family members are looking pale.

Soul does say them not to cry at all
But they unable to listen the low tone
They can't see the position of soul
It is very wonderful of God's creation.

Topic(s) of this poem: death, god, nature

Form: Prose Poem

Yeah, death and re-birth are real mysteries that no one can understands. Though death is a reality that can't be avoided, about rebirth and existence of soul no one can say for sure. A nice poem about what happens after death. Thanks for sharing.10++ (Report)Reply

We believe that with the body dying, the soul is set free. In fact there is no need to cry over death. Through death one enters into another state of eternal life. Death is an inexplicable and inescapable reality of life. Beautiful thoughts on death! (Report)Reply

Kumarmani ji, you have so wisely pondered on this subject and have made it a wonderful creation of God.
That to me is great. I liked how the soul visualises everything happening around but is not able to reach out.
    Excellent poem Kumarmani ji.........10

Death is so unpredictable and mysterious.
Man has discovered so many things but never has solved the mystery of death.
One never knows when or how death will strike each person. But the truth is death is certain for all.

Very true and we too have such a belief here.....I think it's the mind which has been thinking and working
and which is the fuel of the body to function properly all through one's life can still sense others ' feeling
even after its departure which means mind or soul takes some more time than the body to rest and be ready for the next birth...a great write in simple words...thanks a lot with full mark

Both activities like birth means union of soul with body and death means separation of soul with body are mysterious and wonderful. This poem is highly philosophic. This poem motivates us to think more about life and death. Thank you very much for writing a poem after long gap. (Report)Reply

In many cases it is noticed that soul never likes to leave the body because body is more affectionate thing for soul. Combination of soul with body is wonderful thing. (Report)Reply
