After The Snow Poem by Daniel Miltz

After The Snow

Woke up and looked out window white
Snow had fallen during night
It covered everything, far thee eye could see
All night long, storm roared on free
Blanketing white night with white day
Morning broke without a sun·ray

On tis' cold winter day
Moist winds of the morning, go-away
Gone with the snow, thus' done
The snow is melting to touch of sun
O flakes of snow through wind blown trees
Hoping soon that you'll be back in a breeze

Nice. I love poetry about snow and all of its shades. Thanks for sharing.
