After Valentine's Day…
Each beat of my heart is filled with love….
flying high on the wings of a morning dove
A bouquet of long stemmed red roses
is now frail… no longer fragrant to my nose
Balloons are withering as they deflate
One by one the candies they were ate
Romance is not reserved for just one day
It grows… it does not simply slip away
Love expands and continues to give affection
throughout the year… renewing perfection
